City Council Approves Centro Amigo Program for FY2010-2011
Today, September 2, 2010, after a public hearing, the City
Council unanimously approved the Service and Assessment Plan for the Centro San
Antonio Amigo Program for the fiscal year 2010-2011.
The City Council also approved the assessment levy,
which the District property owners agree to pay. The assessment is 0.12/$100 valuation with a
reduction to 0.09/$100 for residential properties. “This is the best public investment we make,
the supplemental services the Amigos provide ensure our visitors and residents
enjoy a clean and friendly downtown.
This is the eleventh year the Amigos have provided these services.
