Downtown Residents Association: National Night Out

October 5, 2010
The Downtown Resident’s Association (DRA) is organizing a community-wide “National Night Out” (NNO) celebration on October 5, 2010 at Hemisfair park for downtown San Antonio. In its 27th year, National Night out is a crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. Neighborhoods across the country come together to celebrate community and foster relationships to prevent crime. Nationally, the event had over 36 million participants last year.

Featured Event: 2010 Urban Spaces Tour

icon2Downtown Alliance’s 7th annual Urban Spaces event is scheduled for Friday Nov. 19. The fun-filled guided walking tour will cover downtown's most exciting residential, commercial, and cultural spaces of downtown San Antonio. Food and drinks will be served along the way, and the tour will culminate with an ending reception at Rio Plaza, with one of the best rooftop view of downtown. Space is limited, so please RSVP today and sign up for your preferred time slot. Tours leave every half hour beginning at 4pm. Student and military discounts are also available. Learn more>

Restaurant Week

August 21-28, 2010
CULINARIA, San Antonio’s premier wine and culinary arts festival, and the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau announced today the dates for CULINARIA Restaurant Week: August 21-28, 2010. Three Course – Pre Fixe Menus will be offered for lunch at the $15 price point and dinner at the $35 price point.
