2010BESTMarkSave the date of April 1, 2011 for Downtown's BEST Awards- Recognizing the people, organizations, and places that have made significant contributions to Downtown San Antonio, creating a better place to live, work, shop, play, and be entertained. The deadline to nominate was Friday March 4, 2011 by 5pm. Winners will be announced at the luncheon on April 1 at the Embassy Suites River Walk. The luncheon check-in will begin at 11:30am and the luncheon was last unitl approx. 1:30pm.

The purpose of this work session is to introduce Placemaking practices and techniques, share ideas from the Placemap, identify key projects and sites that offer the biggest opportunities to transform downtown in the short-term, identify barriers and opportunities, and build an action plan for the next steps. San Antonio Cocktail Conference

Modeled on the wildly popular Manhattan Cocktail Classic and New Orleans' Tales of the Cocktail event. San Antonio's own Cocktail Conference is the first of its kind in Texas.
