The
success of the programs undertaken by The Downtown Alliance is a result
of the active involvement of our members. You
are encouraged to participate in one or more of the following committees based
on your area of interests or concern.
When filling out your DTA Membership Application, please check the box
of the committee(s) you would serve on and the Chairperson will contact
you with the next meeting date. Note that there are also ad-hoc committees
for the special annual events that are hosted by the Downtown Alliance.
Advocacy
Chair: Pete Broderick (Cox Smith Matthews; 554-5448), prbroder@coxsmith.com.
Represent
the membership’s interests, lobby before governmental entities and
other stakeholders, communicate DTA’s position, promote downtown and
DTA to locals and visitors.
Membership
Co-Chairs: Sherrie Wade (CB Richard Ellis; 507-1131); sherrie.wade@cbre.com and Debra Maltz (Centro Properties: 224-2213); debra@centroproperties.com.
Expand
and retain the membership base, provide members a voice through
committee involvement, communicate committee activities, create
networking opportunities.
Programs
Chair: Mitch Meyer (Loopy Limited: 805-8830); mmeyer@loopyltd.com. Host
fundraising and educational events that support our Purposes, create
networking opportunities for members and potential. This committee has
three standing sub-committees for the annual Golf Tournament, BEST
Awards Program and the Urban Spaces Tour.
