Initiated in 1998, this quarterly luncheon series features presentations from the most successful downtown revitalization programs in the country. Speakers dialogue a variety of topics such as transit and transportation impacts, living, working and transforming downtown. With a renewed focus on the urban environment, issues like art in public spaces, safety and reenergizing the city center are discussed. Each year a special focus is made on San Antonio with a luncheon titled “State of Downtown”, where innovative individuals will give an update of projects, statistics and predictions of where downtown is heading. It is a goal of Urban Renaissance series to engage, inform and inspire downtown San Antonio to excellence.
