With a history of over 60 years of service to the community of San Antonio, UNAM-San Antonio, a permanent extension school, is the only branch of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in the United States and the only extension of a foreign university in that country. UNAM offers lectures, panel discussions, films and exhibits and book fairs about Mexico.
