2010 Downtowns BEST Awards: Celebrating a Decade of Downtown

The 10th Annual Downtown's BEST Awards, hosted by Downtown Alliance,
will celebrate a decade of downtown on April 9, 2010 at the Westin
Downtown. This not-to-be-missed event will recognize the people,
organizations, and places that have made significant contributions to
Downtown San Antonio, creating a better place to live, work, shop,
play, and be entertained.

Fiesta

This yearly event held in San Antonio, Texas, in April, is one of America's greatest festivals. Events include River Parade, Battle of Flowers Parade, Fiesta Del Mercado, and more, benefiting over 100 different non-profit organizations. It began
as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle
of San Jacinto. That commemoration still takes place. But over the past
century and more, Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio's
