Local artists as well as the public are invited
to contribute to an interactive Collaborative Community Drawing. Taking its
inspiration from the "exquisite corpse" drawings by the Surrealists during the last
century, a 5x33-feet long drawing will unfold in the school's Navarro Lobby
Gallery, as people contribute to it. Some of the Texas Draws II exhibiting
artists have already committed to contributing, as have a number of local
artists including Jung Mun and Greg Johnson. The art school will have basic
drawing materials including pencils, charcoals, monochrome pastel and pens
available. When completed, the mural will be photographed for posterity.
