Bougainvillea Planter sale to benefit Haven for Hope
On November 3 from 7am to 1pm at the corner of Travis and Navarro, Centro San Antonio and the Amigos invite you to help them support Haven
for Hope by taking home a beautiful bougainvillea planter in exchange
for a donation to Haven for Hope.
The planters are currently lining Houston Street and other major roads around downtown San Antonio but must come down for the winter. Last year, the fundraiser benefited the Food Bank. The beneficiary this year, Haven for Hope, is a non-profit homeless shelter that provides all of the key service providers to getting our city's homeless back on their feet in a campus-style environment. The 37-acre Haven for Hope Campus is located adjacent to the Central Business District, west of downtown San Antonio and will include approximately 440,000 square feet of space under roof, with 998 beds and a courtyard area with the capacity to sleep over 500 additional individuals.
