anniversary that celebrates a decade of service improving downtown through the
Ambassador, Maintenance, and Streetscaping programs.

Expect the following street closures in downtown San Antonio for New Year's Eve (information provided by the City of San Antonio):
- Thursday,
December 31, 2009 at 8:00 am through Friday, January 1, 2010 at 7:00 am -
a total street closure of Alamo Street between Market Street and Durango.
- Thursday,
December 31, 2009 at 8:00 am through Friday, January 1, 2010 at 7:00 am -
a total street closure of Nueva Street between Presa Street and Alamo
Street.
- Thursday,
December 31, 2009 at 11:00 pm through Friday, January 1, 2010 at 12:45 am
- a total street closure of Losoya Street between Commerce and Market
Street.
- Thursday,
December 31, 2009 at 11:30 pm through Friday, January 1, 2010 at 12:45 am
- a total street closure of Bowie Street between Market Street and
Durango plus the southbound 281 exit ramp to Durango Street.
- Thursday,

Today, the City's Office of Environmental Policy (OEP) in
conjunction with the
City's Information Technology Services Department unveiled a new
resource for the bicycling community, an interactive mapping website
that shows area bicycle lanes, routes, and paths in relation to city
streets and landmarks.

With the River Walk expansion and planned redevelopment of HemisFair
Park, it's a great time for students to be learning from — and
participating in — the city's downtown revival, Ben Brewer, director of
the Downtown Alliance, said. “I think (Murphy) brings a great new energy to the program,” Brewer
