Tattoo expo to make its mark

The Alamo City Tattoo Show will add an extra dash of color to the River Walk this weekend, as tattoo artists and enthusiasts flood the Crowne Plaza Hotel. In its ninth year, the show has become one of the largest tattoo expos in Texas. More than 150 Texas and U.S. tattoo artists will attend the show, including celebrity tattoo artist Brittany Elliott of the TV show "Best Ink."

Bagel shop’s book exchange getting assistance

B-Cycle San Antonio Launching This Saturday

San Antonio B-cycle is one of the first large-scale municipal bike sharing systems in the United States. Launching this Saturday, B-cycle will start with 14 special bike stations (B-stations) in downtown San Antonio in highly visible and trafficked areas. San Antonio B-cycle members will be able to pick up one of the gray bikes at any B-station and drop it off at any B-station.

The city is gearing up for Spring Break when lots of families will be driving into town to see the Alamo, the Missions and eat at all our wonderful restaurants.
