Bond committees zeroing in on final recommendations

AAEP Convention Attracts 6,400 to San Antonio

The 57th Annual Convention of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), held Nov. 18-22 in San Antonio, Texas, attracted nearly 6,400 veterinary professionals, guests, and exhibitors, ranking the meeting among the top five conventions by attendance sponsored by the association. The AAEP Convention continues as the world's largest education event for equine veterinarians.

Smoking to be banned at two big Fiesta parades

The 'smoke free workplace' law, which was approved by San Antonio City Council in 2010 and which went into effect in August of this year, is now moving beyond the workplace, and Council tomorrow is expected to approve an ordinance which will ban smoking at the two big Fiesta street parades.
