Restaurants Open on Christmas Day Downtown

San Antonio restaurant offerings for Christmas dinner are as diverse as presents you'll find in Santa's big bag. Find just the right meal for you.

Achiote River Cafe in the Grand Hyatt, 600 E. Market St., 210-224-1234, is offering a Christmas Day buffet noon-9 p.m. that includes its signature salad bar, prime rib with traditional sides, soups and other entrées, artisan bread station, aguas frescas and cinnamon apple cider, assorted holiday desserts and coffee, tea or soda. $30 per person includes tax and gratuity. Alcohol not included.

Hotel Contessa's Las Ramblas Christmas Day Brunch: Executive Chef, Brian West, and our Award-Winning Culinary Team will be preparing and serving an assortment of decadent Holiday offerings. Boudro's on the Riverwalk, 421 E. Commerce, 210-224-8484, will be open 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Christmas specials as well as regular a la carte menu are available. Call for reservations.

Le Midi Restaurant, 301 E. Houston St., 210-858-7388, is preparing a three-course Christmas prix fixe menu. The first course includes choice of soup, salad or smoked salmon tart, the second course includes choice of entrée and the third course is choice of dessert, $50 per person plus tax and gratuity. Open 5-11 p.m.

Zocca Cuisine D'Italia, 420 W. Market St., 210-444-6090, is offering a three-course Christmas lunch and dinner served with shrimp bisque, prime rib, sides, Bouche de Noel and Hot Chocolate with White Chocolate Peppermint Bark, $35 plus tax and gratuity per person.
